Petrified Fish Mini PFP01X G10 Folding Knife
I recently put the Petrified Fish Mini PFP01X through its paces during a weekend trip to see if such a small knife could really handle survival tasks. This compact folding knife impressed me immediately with its robust feel and incredibly smooth action, making it a standout in the 2026 market.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality is outstanding, centered around a durable G10 handle that offers a secure, moisture-resistant grip in all weather conditions. The 14C28N stainless steel blade holds a remarkably sharp edge, and the ceramic ball bearing system ensures the deployment is snappy and consistent every time.
Day-to-Day Experience
Using this knife for daily tasks and campsite prep felt intuitive thanks to its ergonomic design and lightweight profile. The learning curve is virtually non-existent, as the mechanical action is so smooth that it feels natural to operate right out of the box.
This is the perfect tool for outdoor hobbyists and EDC enthusiasts who prioritize a compact, reliable blade that won't weigh down their gear.

The Petrified Fish Mini PFP01X earns a perfect 5/5 rating for its combination of premium materials and functional design. If you are looking for a high-quality survival companion for $129.00, this knife is an easy recommendation that delivers on every promise.
